Take a look at the SainteRadegonde chapel, a semi-troglodyte Romanesque chapel built around the tomb of a hermit fromthe High Middle Ages (6th century). You will discover a well dug in the rock and a wall painting fromthe end of the 12th century representing the Plantagenets.

See its intriguing Romanesque kitchen of Byzantine influence and the recumbent figures of the Plantagenets representing henry II, Eleanor of Aquitaine and their son Richard the Lionheart in the nave of the church. Eleanor, Queen of France and then of England, spent her last years there.
