In 1670, King Louis XIV decided to build the "Hôtel Royal des Invalides" for wounded homeless soldiers of its different wars.
One of the most prestigious monument in Paris, you will discover the tomb of Napoleon, St Louis church and collections of the army museum from the 13th century to World War II.
The large museum counts the Military history of France from the Middle Ages to 1945.
It has the third collection in the world of ancient weapons and armor.
